Eu recentemente escrevi um capítulo para um lindo livro sobre o universo de Alices que transbordam em múltiplas possibilidades expressivas na ilustração. O livro inclui figuras maravilhosas de várias partes do mundo, em artigos escritos por acadêmicos, colecionadores, ilustradores e artistas alicinantes. Vale muito a pena conferir. Existe também uma edição limitada que vem com gravuras assinadas por artistas como Jan Svankmajer e Alain Gauthier, Joanna Concejo e De Loss McGraw, todos incríveis.
No capítulo que escrevi sobre Alice na ilustração brasileira, citei inúmeros ilustradores, todos os que conhecia e apresentei mais detidamente os artistas a seguir.
I recently wrote a chapter for one amazing book about Alice's universe of possibilities in illustration. There are many wonderful illustrations and authors, including scholars, collectors and artists. It was an honour to participate writing a chapter about Alice in Brazilian illustration, including some contemporary artists and beginning with our treasure which is the presence of Alice in the books of the writer Monteiro Lobato, the first to translate Alice in Brazil.
